Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill - Perspectives Informed by the practice and provision of palliative care

Meeting of the Cross Party Group in the Scottish Parliament on Palliative Care

19th February 2025

Presentations and discussion at this meeting focused on the Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill, exploring perspectives informed by the practice and provision of palliative care.

Introducing the meeting the Convenor, Bob Doris MSP, stressed that the Cross Party Group was not seeking to arrive at a position on the Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill. Instead, the meeting was an important opportunity for MSPs to hear relevant perspectives, so as to inform their deliberations on the Bill.

A minute of the meeting will be available in due course.  Recordings of the presentations can be accessed by scrolling down.
