Ardgowan Hospice, Greenock

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde

Inpatient, day care and home care services for those with cancer, motor neurone disease and other progressive conditions. Services are open to those living in Kilmalcolm, Langbank, Port Glasgow, Greenock, Gourock, Wemyss Bay & Skelmorlie. Services can be accessed by professional referral or self-referral with permission of responsible clinician. The Day Care Unit is open Monday to Friday 10.30am to 3.00pm. Other services include a volunteer driver service, a bereavement service, a lymphoedema management clinic and full professional education programme.
Based in the separate "ACCESS at Ardgowan" Centre, there is a "Living with Cancer" service including a programme of education and support for cancer patients and their carers, a drop-in facility and relaxation and complementary therapy provision
