Living and Dying Well a national action plan for palliative and end of life care in Scotland

Scotland's first national action plan for palliative and end of life care was launched at the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care annual conference on 2 October 2008. It followed the commitment by the Scottish Government in Better Health, Better Care (December 2007) to implement the recommendations of the Partnership's earlier report Palliative and end of life care in Scotland : the case for a cohesive approach.
