T&Cs for forum

1. Purpose

The purpose of the SPPC Forums is to provide a safe, respectful and positive space for the discussion and information sharing. The SPPC will ensure that users of the forums are provided with a supportive and considerate environment in which users can obtain information, share experience and exchange expertise. By using one or more of SPPC forums you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use the SPPC Forums.

2. Conduct of Forum Users

2.1. All views publicly posted on the forum are individual and not the views, policy or advice of the SPPC. User posts to be found in the online forums are solely the responsibility of their respective authors.

2.2. Any reference to 3rd party organisations, their products or services does not imply endorsement by the SPPC. Such implications/references may be removed or edited.

2.3. If a user is under the age of 16 they must get parent or guardian permission before taking part in any forum discussion. If you are under 16 please get parent or guardian permission before taking part in any SPPC website forum discussion.

2.4. You must agree not to participate in manipulative or malicious behaviour with intent to cause damage to SPPC, the SPPC website or any of the computer systems linking to the SPPC.

2.5. You must not impersonate any person or entity. This includes but is not limited to, any SPPC member or administrator and any other forum member, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent Your affiliation with another person or entity.

3. Postings and messages

Content that is posted to the SPPC forum, including your choice of username, must comply with the following conditions:

3.1. Messages must not contain the use of explicit, obscene or vulgar language or images and/or messages, including racist, sexist or homophobic remarks.

3.2. Forum discussions can sometimes become heated. They often take place more or less in real time, and it can be tempting to respond offensively in the heat of the moment. No posts that attack, insult or abuse forum members are tolerated. Respect other members of the community and don’t belittle, make fun off, or insult another member. Agree to disagree. If you think another user has breached the rules please contact the moderator by email.

3.3. No posts of copyrighted material. Information copyrighted or owned by any individual or entity other than the person posting should not be posted on the message boards without the consent of the owner. If you participate in a discussion, you are responsible for ensuring that any material you post to the Forum does not violate or infringe the copyright, patent, trademark or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third party.

4. Moderation

4.1. The SPPC reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any posts when in breach of these terms and conditions and to withdraw the registration of any user breaching these terms and conditions.

4.2. The SPPC reserves the right to delete any contribution at its sole discretion at any time without notice.

5. Use of website

The SPPC reserve the right to change the contents of this website or to discontinue it at any time, as well as the right to deny access to the site to any person whom we have reasonable grounds to believe may be using the site for an unlawful or unauthorised purpose or in a manner that may harm us.

6. Copyright

You may not copy, reproduce, re-publish, download, post broadcast, transmit, make available to the public or otherwise use the content of the SPPC website and associated websites in any way except for your own personal, non-commercial home use. You may not adapt or to create a derivative work from any SPPC content except for your own personal non-commercial home use.

7. Changes to SPPC Forum Terms and Conditions

The SPPC may change these terms and conditions at any time by posting the changes online and your continued use of the website after such changes are posted means you agree to be bound by these terms as amended.
