Palliative Care Poster Parade 2024

The SPPC Palliative Care Poster Parade is an online collection of posters showcasing best practice and new initiatives to improve experiences of living with serious illness, dying and bereavement in Scotland and further afield. You can view all the posters here.

Derek Doyle Poster Prize

Each year, the Derek Doyle Poster Prize is awarded to the poster that gets the most public votes.  

To vote for your favourite poster in the exhibition all you have to do is send the name and number of the poster of your choice to:  Mark@palliativecarescotland.org.uk  Please note it is one person, one vote - any subsequent votes will be discarded. The closing date for voting is 12 noon on Saturday 23 March.  Voting is open to employees of the SPPC Member Organisations as well as employees from any organisation that has submitted a virtual poster for the Autumn Season Poster Parade Exhibition 2024.

As many people will know Derek was a key figure in Scotland, the UK and globally in the development of palliative care – instrumental in establishing palliative medicine as a speciality, first chair of the Association for Palliative Medicine, first Vice-Chairman of the European Association for Palliative Care and a founding member of the International Association for Hospice and Palliative Care.
