New report on public health approaches to palliative care

The Scottish Public Health Network has published Palliative and end of life care in Scotland: The rationale for a public health approach.

The report aims to examine the rationale for applying a public health approach to palliative and end of life care, and to explore where and how public health approaches could be applied to support local service planning and delivery. The report is accompanied by 5 briefing papers and includes 17 recommendations.
