WCMTlogo 4    Apply for a 2018 funded Travelling Fellowship

May 2017
Do you work in the field of Health and Wellbeing?

Would time overseas meeting others in your sector and sharing ideas and good practice benefit your work? Would you be prepared to share your findings for the improvement of your sector, and the UK as a whole, on your return?

If the answer is yes, and you would like to visit innovative programmes abroad so that you could transfer or adapt them to the UK, a Churchill Fellowship could be for you.

We are seeking applications for projects that will make a positive contribution in the areas of:
  • public and community health
  • clinical practice
  • technology and innovation
  • teaching and training
Additional funding for interpreters is available as part of this category.

If you are a Nurse or an Allied Health Professional, you might be interested in applying to our dedicated category.

A Fellowship allows you to go overseas and look at good practice and innovative programmes so that you can return to the UK and share the new ideas for the improvement of your sector or trade.

What is a Travelling Fellowship?
The Trust awards travel grants to men and women who will be able to undertake research overseas and on their return to the UK disseminate their new knowledge and examples of good practice.

Applicants must demonstrate that their project will have a wider benefit within their community or field, in addition to their own personal development.
