Cross Party Group Meeting, 16 November 2011: 'Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief'

This meeting focussed on Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief, the new Alliance working to make Scotland a place where there is more openness about death, dying and bereavement. Members want to make people feel better supported through the difficult times surrounding end of life, and help them plan ahead for illness and death. Making plans when you’re healthy means there’s less to think about if you get sick.

Kate Lennon, Chair of the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care and Chair of Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief delivered a presentation introducing the new alliance working to make Scotland a place where there is more openness about death, dying and bereavement, whilst Eddie Small from Dundee University gave a presentation outlining historical perspectives on death, dying and bereavement in Scottish society.

Agenda
