Scottish Cancer Conference 2023 - booking open!

This year’s conference represents a unique, high-profile gathering of individuals and organisations involved with or affected by cancer, from patients to pharmaceutical companies, clinicians, academics, policy makers, and charities. It presents an unrivalled opportunity to share, learn, network, and understand the latest developments in our combined efforts in beating cancer.

The theme for this year’s conference will be Scotland’s new Cancer Strategy – Ten years in the future, what does success look like? This year’s conference will examine what the strategy promises to deliver over the next 10 years. We'll discuss why it is so important, what needs to happen to ensure it is implemented and how we will know that it has been a success.

This year's conference will take place on Monday 27th November 2023 at the University of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre in Glasgow. Registration for the conference is now open and you can book your place here: https://events.cancerresearchuk.org/registration/select/wave/N23SCDW01

This year, there will also be the opportunity to register for an exhibition package at the conference. If you would like to exhibit at this year’s event, please get in touch at scotcancerconf@cancer.org.uk

We will also have a small number of free tickets for people with lived experience of cancer and who are not affiliated with an organisation who wish to attend. For further info on this, please email scotcancerconf@cancer.org.uk

Scottish Cancer Conference 2022

Thank you to everyone who attended the Scottish Cancer Conference 2022. The theme of the conference was cancer inequalities, with some fantastic speakers during the day. We hope that all delegates who attended on the day found the sessions interesting and the networking opportunities worthwhile. If you weren’t able attend the event, you can find a write up of all the presentations and breakout sessions in our Conference Report. You can also read Cancer Research UK's Deprivation and Cancer Inequalities in Scotland Report which was launched at the conference.
