Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care

Promoting palliative care for all....

The Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care is the national umbrella body for palliative care in Scotland. It brings together NHS bodies and voluntary and professional organisations to promote better understanding of palliative care, to make it available to all those who need it, and to improve standards of care for patients and families. The Partnership takes the lead in Scotland in promoting access to palliative care for all, working to ensure that people with a progressive life-threatening condition such as cancer, advanced heart failure or motor neurone disease, receive good palliative care.
